Not only are Money Trees striking, they help purify the air by removing unhealthy organic compounds. Once established, Money Trees are very low maintenance. It grows best near a sunny window. Provide the plant with as much light as possible, without placing it directly in sunlight. Water when the top couple in. of the soil are dry (about once a week) and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately 1 cup of water, adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Money Tree sit in water or overly soggy soil.

I bought the tree with the multicolored planter. Am I supposed to remove the plastic that's inside the planter and repot this into another pot that then goes into the planter?? I am very confused.
The plant stays in the plastic grower pot (with drainage holes) and sits inside the decorative planter. Just remove it when watering, let it drain, then place it back inside.
I know I’m “answering” my own question, but it’s because the response is not correct. This is not inside of a plastic pot with drainage holes. It is wrapped in plastic wrap, then set inside the decorate basket. Is this not how it was supposed to arrive??
