Snake Plant Laurentii (Sansevieria) in 8.75 in. Grower Pot

A:  Yes, mine are flourishing in the full sun on my deck (northern Virginia). They’ve even flowered. We have an irrigation drip line to each, so they are watered regularly.

A:  Hi ThePlantLady! Yes! The snake plant can be planted outdoors! If planting directly into the ground, we recommended checking your local restrictions.

A:  Yes, if you live in hardiness zones 9-11 but they need good drainage. They don’t do well with a lot of water inside or outside. They do well in pots on a porch or deck during warm weather and then when temps dip, can be brought inside.

A:  Hi Michelle, At shipping this plant measures approximately 24-28 inches tall, measuring from the bottom of the pot.

A:  Of course the height can vary some but it was a nice size about 14-18 inches upon arrival. I've had mine for about a year now and it not 3-4 feet tall. It was shipped in perfect packing.

A:  I have had this plant for about maybe 2 years now. It measures 44 to the highest shoot. Very easy to take care of.

A:  my plant is about 35" tall now but when i got it it was around 29" that has bee a few years now I have to say it is Beautiful you don't have water it to much only when dry you will learn as you go to much water will rot the ruts and you don't want that anyway GOOD LUCK I know you are going to love it as I do mine..

A:  It is about 17 inches tall.

A:  I used cactus/succulent mix. Seems to be okay. Takes awhile to know for sure.

A:  I did 1/2 and 1/2 mix of cactus soil and regular potting soil. Fertilizer I use is Miricle Grow all purpose. Just once in Spring and once in Summer. Let soil get dry between watering.

A:  I believe it is toxic to humans and cats if ingested. If it is of interest: My plant is in my home office and neither of my cats have even sniffed it so I am not afraid they'll eat it - having said that every cat is different!
