Yes I got it when they said, but the problem is it’s starting to look bad, Im tiring to help it get back to looking good. I followed everything about the plant that they sent me so Let’s hope it rebounds some what. If not it’s money gone and I will never buy this type of plant again.
It can get very tall or you can control the height with cutting back. Do it in spring, when it is beginning to wake up. Do not do over winter when more dormant. sometimes it can get top heavy , with trunk not big enough to support weight. I have 2 that are tall (18 feet) and they have a plant support to keep straight.
Yes fiddle leaf figs are toxic to pets
It can grow as tall as you want. I have 2 that are 18 feet and I just keep chopping them back by taking off top 2 feet. I propagate the cut tops in water and make new plants that I give away. Do not be afraid to cut back , use very clean clippers and do not get sap on carpet or floor. ( Stains) I put old bath towels down first. they do drip for awhile , just let them heal off. wherever you cut, there will be two sprouts after that. Use this as a guide , for how you want to control height vs fullness.
So the plant comes in the growers pot, so what I did was I left it in the pot since it has the drainage holes and just placed it in the ceramic pot.
