Fantasic for old dogs
I bought it for my old dog's house, I put a sheepskin in there but it still needed more heat, This worked perfectly in our outdoor dog house. At -15°C the inside of the house was 0°C. We mounted it on the ceiling which was at a 75° angle and it worked perfectly. This heater on Low gets very hot to the touch. I would not mount it on the side of a dog house where a dog could fall asleep on it. I bought a remote digital thermometer so I could monitor the temperature in there. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my old girl was warm and safe. PS, use sheepskins in the dog's house, the skin part prevents moisture from passing through into their bodies!

Not quite up to the task
It got warm but on cold nights it just wasn't strong enough to keep my feral cats house comfortable. I returned it and bought a different brand of heater which works better. The Akoma Hound Heater works fine.

Safe outdoor pet heater
I was looking for a fire safe heater for our outdoor cat house. The reviews made me worry that this would be too hot - but there are two settings and the hottest setting isn't really all that hot. My cat will basically lay on it. It definitely does the trick though, will zero fire hazard worry.

I LOVED this product UNTIL it suddenly stopped working ?? Ive only had it for a couple of months and my little kitty is very disappointed as well ! I am working on trying to contact customer service to replace it. I will update review accordingly.

Bad design
I was lucky I found out soon enough that my cat wrapped herself around the bottom of the rectangular shape. Her belly became so warm that she stopped eating. It has only 2 heat settings. Both are too high, There is no safety feature. This is an indoor heater. I give it zero stars.
