AnswerDepending on which way you stack the crates, the 2 together will have a different overall dimension. One crate is 12.5" at its longest dimension, 11.8 at its height, and 9.5 at the shortest. Double these dimensions depending on which way you are stacking. These are designed to hold 2 full 64oz growlers of liquid, but may hold more depending on your specific usage.

I ordered 2 sets of these crates for storage a narrow location on a narrow shelf. Of the two sets, one set only had three wood slats across the bottom. The other set only had two slats for the bottom, which leaves a big hole. I ordered another set which was the same. I checked the pictures, and sure enough, they show only two slats! I am fortunate that I got at least one set with three slats to hold things, but I realize now that they are not designed that way.
