This is solidly constructed with cedar wood. All of the hardware is solid and industrial strength. Prior to beginning construction take the time to sort the pieces but their number stamped on the end of each board. This will save hours. Instructions very well detailed and easy to follow. Recommend two to three people join the construction party. All total it took two men 15 hours to complete. A big thanks for extra hardware. Losing it in the grass is a bear to find. The kids love their new playset and eaten two meals on their own picknick bench.

First the boxes smelled fantastic when they arrived, fresh wood always smells good but that much cedar was lovely. I cleared a large area to sort the parts to make construction simpler. I found to my delight all of the parts were individually labeled so there was no guessing what went where. I found the directions easy enough to follow and the building was fairly straight forward. I was able to do most of it alone since I am used to working that way and only had to have my wife help hold a few things in place until I could secure them. Just follow the instructions and plan how to lift pieces and temporarily secure them until all of the fasteners are in place. My son couldn't be happier, we have trouble getting him to come inside now and just wants to keep playing.

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have enough space for it. I happen to have a large back yard and it worked out fine, but be certain of that beforehand. First of all the quality overall I great and the entire product is thought-out and well-designed. All cedar lumber construction and weather-resistant hardware with a lot of predrilled holes makes the install straightforward. The instructions are mostly accurate. The first thing I did was unbox everything and stacked all the lumber (numbered on each end) in stacks by number. This made it a lot easier to find each piece required (there are a LOT) as if I were selecting lumber from a lumber yard. I ignored the tools required and used several drills and impact drivers including impact sockets, tiedowns several times to bend things into position, and several ladders of various sizes. It took me about ten hours to build all by myself, and I am a general contractor who builds things every day. I suggest using a friend and all the tools required plus the ones I mentioned otherwise it will be harder and take longer. I mentioned all this in assembly because it takes a substantial amount of time and effort (not like assembling cheap Swedish furniture) and is something to consider. If you are inexperienced make sure your helper has experience in building things. As far as features go it has nearly everything from two towers to a bridge, shade tarps, two slides, a sandbox (no sand included) a picnic bench, a climbing rock wall, a wood and chain ladder, two swings, a third double wobbly swing, and even a steering wheel for the imagination. My daughter loves it so far, she has crawled all over it and used every swing. Overall it is a beautiful play structure and apparently sturdy and safe. It is nice that the wood is pre-finished (the cedar smells great!) and the hardware is generally beefy and oversized for safety. The only things I did not use were the hold-downs that anchor into the dirt because I built mine on a large finished concrete pad. I may move it to a dirt area in which case I will use the anchors but if it stays on the concrete I will have to use wedge anchors to hold it down. Just something to consider. If you have the space and the time to build this structure, I highly suggest getting this high-quality playset. The look on your kids faces when they see it will be worth it and so will the lasting memories for years to come.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very underwelmed For the price and what the reviews said, I was expecting alot more. The wood is very soft. some of the screws went in as if I was putting them into butter. If that wasn't the issue, then it was the wood pieces splitting. One piece was drilled wrong. luckily it was a quick fix of drilling 2 additional holes. 4 pieces called for screws, where it would need bolts. putting screws in would simply slide out. had to go out and buy 8 additional bolts. the kids love it, but I truly don't know how long this playset will last

Be sure to read all the dimensions to make sure it will fit in your space. Our kids are still young (4 and 2), but they are loving exploring and playing on this play set. I think it will work well for their needs for years to come, but they can still manage on it, even at such young ages. Installation is a huge commitment. Plan on setting out and sorting through all the pieces the day before beginning this project. Our set took 2 people at least 12 hours to build. The instructions are complete, but there are just so many steps and pieces to keep track of (not dissimilar to any other play set that requires assembly). The quality of the wood seemed good enough. We encountered very few pieces that were warped or cracked. Take care when driving in screws not to crack the wood by over-tightening. I love that this set includes 2 slides and a bridge. Our kids especially love the rock wall feature. I personally dealt directly with the manufacturer to get a shipping issue resolved and their customer service was above and beyond what I expected. A great company to work with, willing to resolve any issues you might have with missing pieces or questions about assembly. If you're looking to invest in a quality play set, then look no further. I know this will serve our family well for years to come!

Have a day and a couple of helpers available for assembly. It takes time and as long as you have some basic tools and can follow directions (with some thought) then you will be fine. I got confused on some of the directions but in the end figured it out. The worst part was the shipping. They skid was broken into a thousand pieces. The boxes with all the HEAVY wood were only help together with straps and NO TAPE. They need to learn better packaging and shipping skills.
