Yes, BUT you need to measure from the top of the screw-in socket, to the outer rim of your fixture to determine what length your fixture can "hide", contain. We failed to do this and now have bulbs which protrude beyond the end of the fixture. the bulbs themselves work and perform as advertised; they are dimmable and provide a warm light. If possible, take an example of your fixture, and a measuring tape, with you when you go to buy bulbs...
No hum, no buzz when dimmed. Did not require a special dimmer. Stays cool so I can use a 100W equivalent bulb in a lamp that normally would only be able to use a 60W incandescent due to heat. Exact same size as a regular bulb so clearance within the lamp is not a problem. As long as these keep working, I'll be very happy with the little bit of power they use.

They are good lights but the dimmable portion of the light is not that good. low light it flickers a little, I might be a bit picky just because I am used to the old lightbulbs. I have one in my bathroom that is kinda noisy ( it humms ) when it is lower then 70% ish. Over all better then other 100w LEDs I have tried
Thank you, Cree for replacing the LED bulbs that burned out after just 2 years. We are pleased with the light these bulbs put out, and the savings that LEDs give us.
I have been using 4 of these in a bathroom on a Lutron Caseta dimmer for around 1.5 years, and they have so far worked well. However, these bulbs are not perfect. For instance, I wish that they dimmed lower. On the Lutron Caseta, they can dim to somewhere around 30-40% without starting to flicker. Also, I wish that Cree would develop a LED with the technology that Philips calls "Warm Glow" where the bulb color temperature gets warmer as you dim it. I really like this feature on my Philips bulbs. Otherwise, these seem like a good bulb to me.
