No. These require a Zigbee enabled hub such as Samsung's Smart Things. GE has bulbs that can work directly with Google.
I use the Wink hub and it too was not detecting the bulb initially. What I ended up doing was putting the bulb in a lamp and sitting with the lamp right next to the hub and redid the steps to connect the bulb to the hub. It worked just fine that way. Then I just took the bulb out of the lamp and put it in the overhead fixture I wanted it in. This has been the case with everything I connect to my hub - if I'm not RIGHT next to it, the hub doesn't detect the device. I hope this hack works for you!
yes, but I use a Wink hub.
Yes. I works perfect with Alexa.. Just install the app. I have 5 rooms working on Cree & the Daylight bulb is my favorite.
These bulbs can only work with Google home and Alexa if they are connected through a smart hub.
The CREE A19 can do all, you can connected with the Smartthings app, name it, asked echo to discover new devices and your done. The CREE A19 was not reliable, constantly needed to be reconnected. I would not recommend definitely does not perform as well as Phillips Hue. I eventually switched over to Phillips Hue and now things run problem free.
No you need a zigbee hub such as Wink or Smarthings.
No. Certified for Alexa.
No! You need a hub that is compatible, like Smartthings hub.
You have to purchase a Wink Hub in order to get it to work with a smart speaker like the Google Mini. I have both and it's amazing.
