This is a set of three stainless set nesting pots in the Tulipe line by Cristal. They include a handle and a glass steamer as well as three glass lids.
Cristal pots and pans are interesting in that they are built to nest and take up less room in your cupboard. You attach the handle of your choice. You can buy long handles or short ones depending on your use. I've found that I use each style and have several of the short ones and two of the long ones. I alternate these between pots (and a separate set of pans that I owned previously.)
The grade of steel used is excellent. Also, this glass steamer is the best that I have ever had. I've used electric steamers, silicone, metal – all kinds. But this steamer lifts the food above the pot and lets me see through to gauge when the cooking is done.
An excellent set in a wonderful line of pots and pans.

I never thought I'd be so excited for new pans! WOW! These are INCREDIBLE! Out of the box, this set comes with 3 different sizes of Sauce Pans, 3 matching Lids, a Glass Steamer insert and a universal removable handle. All parts and materials are professional grade, made with care and attention to detail. The handle clips onto either side of the two handles for each pan, making the sometimes crowded stove top a carefree experience. You can take these right from the stove top to the oven too! They're dishwasher safe and have not given me any hard times getting "baked on" remnants off. This set is perfect for beginners and pros! I want to also point out that I live over a mile above sea level. Water takes longer to boil up where I live, however, I noticed that the bottom of these pans are thick and almost takes shorter to boil water than when I lived at sea level. Great design! I'd love to expand this set and pick up the larger pots and saute pans! I have included some photos for you to check out. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

A unique design makes this cookware very versatile. The pots are stainless so they can take acidic foods. Each of the 3 pots has riveted short handles, like a casserole dish. Therefore, they can be used in the oven without the long handle. The long handle can be used on any of the pots for stovetop cooking. You simply snap it into the groove and the handle locks. The glass lids and pots can go into the dishwasher. The long detachable handle doesn't get hot but the knobs on the glass lids do get hot so you'll need a pot holder. It also comes with a glass steamer that sits on top of the pot for steaming vegetables. This is a nice feature. It comes with a recipe booklet that includes recipes for main courses, desserts and steam cooking with times specified. You can cook meat without fat following the instructions. There are recipes for chicken tikka masala, New England clam chowder and mushrooms risotto among the 10 in the booklet. The stainless cookware has a flat bottom so they can be used on ceramic cooktops as well as gas and electric stoves and can take oven temps up to 450 F. All of the pans nest easily for storage so they don't take up much room in your cabinet.

I Love my new Cristel Sauce Pan Set. This has just been the greatest set that I have ever owned!!
I can cook in it and then serve out of it on the table. I Love the Glass steamer. It has been stupendous just to see your food steaming not having to open a lid just to check on the cooking. I think It would be hard to find anything better.

Product is well made but the price is not
This cookware is very well made. The glass lids make it easier to see whats cooking. The bottom of these pans are flat and this makes it easy to cook on all surfaces. The best part about this cookware is it has no rives and this makes it super easy to clean the cookware. No more residues sticking around the rivets. I love the glass steamer. Makes steaming a breeze. The only complaint I have with this product is home depot reduced the price of this cookware very low from what I brought. I really feel bad about this big price drop. I feel this is cheating to customers:( For this very reason of sudden price change I would not recommend buying this product as we never know it may reduce even further.

I looked for quality stainless steel flat bottom cookware to use on electric glass top. I have followed instructions for use. No bleach, need little Bar Keepers Friend for best clean up after cooking meats. No salt for water to boil. I do not use dishwasher. I am pleased with Cristel and recommend.
