Nice Looking Product & Poor Description on Assembly

I was excited to see in the advertisement for this product that it was "solid wood" and that it came assembled. I did notice in a review that said "light assembly" so I assumed that meant the interior shelves. Boy oh Boy were we surprised when it was delivered UNASSEMBLED on November 17 ! Cam bolts and Cam locks = pain to assemble. Particle board was abound with only the top, sides, and bottom as solid wood. The "light" assembly only took us about 2 1/2 -3hrs to put together correctly. Thankfully we both have fine hand motor skills and strength, otherwise we would have had to call an independent contractor to assemble it. When we had it all together it looks nice and suits the purpose we bought it for. I will commend HD for the communications that were provided regarding delivery...no changes are needed for that.

This is a nice TV stand. It did, however, have two nicks on the front. I was able to cover them with stain. I didn't want to send it back. I love the look and it is just what I wanted. It did take awhile to put it together.

Product info is very misleading as indicates that only "light" assembly is required though in another place re product it states "no assembly required". WRONG. I unpacked this morning and it requires total assembly-sides, shelving, top to sides and all to bottom plus back etc. I would not purchase another such product from Home Depot. Looks like nice piece of furniture. I contacted an independent assembly company that HD uses and am paying to have them come and assemble. This should not be. Shame on Home Depot.
