Do you have to use a special drill bit to drill a hole in tile??

I used a bit specifically for tile or glass (1/4 inch). I would think you risk damaging or cracking the tile if other bits are used. Also the instructions state the plastic anchor (if used) should be positioned behind the tile to prevent cracking.

Also the open front creates 'hooks' to hang things if needed. Could benefit from 2 mounting points on each side, but so far it has not moved during use. Installed for a month as of this posting.

I bought this to hold shampoo & conditioner. Two medium-sized bottles fit nicely with room for at least one more. This soap dish looks great - like it cost a lot more, really. Installation was pretty straightforward. The only tricky part was keeping it level while I marked the holes.
