The Extra Heavy-Duty Space Age 10-Year Rectangular Blue/Silver Solar Cover Pool Blanket warms up your pool water by over 15°. Made of polyethylene material, this solar cover floats bubble side down on the surface of your pool water when the pool is not in use, allowing solar energy to pass through and trap it as retained heat in the pool. This cover is made of Extra Heavy Duty 10 mil material that helps raise the water temperature by absorbing sunlight during the day and retaining the heat at night, thereby extending the pool season. Savings come from a reduction in water evaporation decreasing chemical consumption. Material is highly resistant to ultraviolet rays which inhibits deterioration. 10-year warranty.

Misleading description…it is simply a bubble type…
This was a simple bubble type of pool cover. Something we specifically did not want. In the description is clearly says it is a diamond type….I feel ripped off and taken advantage of.

Very thin and I doubt if I will get more than two seasons from it. What is worrying is that another reviewer said that there were likely to be problems with the manufacturers honouring the 10 year warranty

Well made and does a good job. My only complaint is that the cuts were not square along two of the four sides. My pool is only 18ft wide so there was room to cut the non square side to make it square but if your pool is 20 ft wide, you might want to go up a size so that you have room to perfect the cuts.

The cover was larger than I needed, but the next smaller size would not have been big enough. The cover was easy to cut to size for my kidney-shaped pool. It works great. When the temperature dropped into the low sixties a couple of weeks ago, my pool only dropped a couple of degrees over night. With the cover on, the sun shining, and my solar pool panels working, the temperature quickly returned to the mid to high 80's.

Cover arrived promptly and was easy to unpack and fit....
Cover arrived promptly and was easy to unpack and fit. Cutting to fit our pool was very easy and over the course of 2-3 weeks, our pool temp increased 12-14 degrees! Very happy with this product!
