I've had four snowblowers over the years and this one is, so far, the best. It throws regular snow a good distance and handles watery slush surprisingly well. It worked well getting through the end-of-driveway pile left by the town snowplow. I like the LED headlights (my most recent machine would burn out bulbs frequently). The mechanical chute crank works smoothly, operates fast enough and is easy to use. The tires seem to have good grip and goes up our 10% grade driveway. I live in Massachusetts and we have varied winter weather and this machine's performance is completely adequate for the kind of snow we get.

lasted less than 24 hours!
Bought this the day before from HD. next day it made it half way through the job and the. Shutdown! After spending $1200 on a blower this was beyond disappointing. That being said it was decent with snow but if there is a little slush expect it to choke

Excellent and a beast
This snow thrower is amazing. My wife can start it. No carb, no choke and no priming bulb. Plug it in and press the button to start. Power steering made simple by finger controls. Probably a little high on price but works so well. Really like two upper led lights and led light on top of bucket

This is an absolute beast! I purchased this for my son & daughter-in-law as a house warming gift and delivered it just in time! We got our first snow storm on Veteran's day. Needless to say, he was very happy he had the new snow blower. The snow started off wet and heavy, but as night fell, the snow turned more of a powdery mix, so the new machine would get to test itself on pretty much everything. When it was all said and done we had a little over 12" on the ground. This machine ate through it, and the end of driveway mess that the plow left behind without any hesitation. The motor never bogged down and the newer LED duel headlights lit the landscape really well as can be seen in the included pic. He did however get thoroughly covered in snow dust as the wind was howling. I ordered him the MTD heated hand grip kit (#753-08824 for 2017 and newer models) and also the Arnold universal snow cab which should keep him warm and dry. I am so far very happy with my purchase as is my son. It will get another workout today as the drifting has built up an even larger amount in the driveway overnight. I would recommend this unit to anyone needing to clear a larger area

Used twice thus far, and is overall an OK snow blower. Pros: Quiet, 2 bright headlights, 2 triggers that allow you to quickly disengage the left or right wheel to allow for easy turns. Cons: The cable to turn the chute however kept falling out of the turn handle. After an hour of looking into it I did find that you are able to change the pin location on the cable that is near the chute. There are two pin holes available and moving it to the one on the end seems to have solved the problem. The speed of the machine shows 1-6 and R, RR but I only notice one speed for the forward movements. Not a very fast machine and seems to pull to the left

It is a beast. If you are upgrading from a 24” you will notice it’s bulk and weight. I kind of regret going to 30 for North East winters with a typical residential driveway. However, it is manageable and makes the job faster. Expect to do a little more manual shovel cleanup in uneven areas like street to driveway junctions.
