Powerful and Smart! It's Cuisinart!
This microwave replaced one I'd had for a number of years. It is quiet and the inverter technology is awesome! I like the handle instead of pushing to open it and it's very roomy inside. I have a Cuisinart kitchen which speaks volumes, right?

Love the look and the features. Small enough to fit my small space and powerful enough to handle what I need. Happy to have a handle instead of a push button to open the door.

    Made to Fit
This was a replacement for our other Cuisinart which we had for 8 yrs. We use it on a shelf we had constructed when we did a new kitchen. It saves counter space. It was the size we needed and I have no doubt it will serve us as long as our previous Cuisinart did.

Yes, I would recommend this microwave by Cuisinart for the inverter technology and some of the features. It was the best of what currently is available as a countertop microwave with inverter technology. Two things sold me on this microwave: the inverter technology actually omits only the power set (as opposed to a regular microwave that just toggles full power on and off for the end result to be an average of the lower power selected). With the inverter technology, cooking is very even at every power (either a power you manually select or the power used in the auto cook selections). I like also really like the options on the touch panel. I easily can manually enter the time I want my food to cook or use the quick minute feature (and the quick add 30 sec feature). I can choose defrost either by weight or time. The pre-programmed auto cook selections (popcorn, beverage, reheat, etc.) are okay but watch what they do the first time you use them and then decide. Now . . . THE DOOR - ugh. I like that it has a handle vs. a button to push that opens the door, BUT . . . the door has blurry glass and in combination with the dark interior color of the microwave and dim interior lighting, you cannot clearly see your food cooking. All you can see is a blurry image of the food circulating around. You cannot see if something is bubbling over or has changed color. You can see well enough to see if something has slipped to one side or a lid has fallen off or something like that but that's all. If ANY other countertop microwave, with the features I like and a clear glass door and bright interior, had been available (either from Cuisinart or another brand), I would have purchased that one instead of this one. Only this one color was available Cuisinart and it has the dark interior, dim lighting and blurry glass in the door. I hope Cuisinart is listening as quite a few reviews comment negatively about the door.

Inverter Technology is the way to go. I already had an inverter microwave less than two years old but chose to keep this one instead because of the better designed keypad and the Sensor technology. The Sensor technology is the next step in microwave technology The Inverter technology is best for defrosting items. Regular microwaves run on high power only and start and stop the energy creating hot spots. the inverter runs full time but at a reduced energy level. Like a gas stove vs an electric coil stove. Inverter gives much better results. Sensor Technology is designed to detect when your food is done without programming the weight of the food. The instruction manual comes with a cooking guide for various items like fresh or frozen veggies, baked potato, meat / poultry, fish, Pizza, and reheating leftovers. We mainly use it for cooking frozen vegetables and Frozen chicken tenders. It works great for frozen chicken tenders. Instead of thawing the tenders in water and cooking on the stove we pop them in the microwave on sensor mode. They are done in 10 minutes. Check my picture for a before and after. They are perfectly tender and moist. Internal temp is 200 degrees. They aren’t that pretty but they look the same as when cooking with a little water on the stove to keep them moist. This method adds zero oil or fat. We cut them up for tacos and salads and baked potato toppings. If you want some color finish them on the stove in a little oil. Also works great for ground beef or pork but you have to keep crumbling the meat to keep from getting meatballs. Auto cook mode is the programmed timed mode for things like melting butter, cooking rice or grains, hot beverages etc.. It looks great. nice balance of black and stainless. Goes perfectly with our mix of black and stainless appliances. Duh. Very quiet. Internal dimensions with the glass tray installed are 7.5 inches tall. 12 7/8 inches wide and 12 ¾ inches deep. The glass tray is 12 3/8 inch diameter. The inside front has a quick reference of the most common cooking modes so you dont have to dig out the manual each time! My only complaint is the beeper only chimes once. I am somewhat hard of hearing so a beep every 15 or 20 seconds helps to detect when something is done.

This microwave is another quality product from Cuisinart. I have had a lot of different microwaves over the years and this one is the quietest one that I have owned. It is even less noisy than my current built in, which was more expensive. Another feature I really like is the handle on the door, which none of my previous microwaves have had. The black and stainless exterior gives it a very classy look. The instructions are very easy to follow and the microwave is easy to use. So far I have reheated coffee and cooked potatoes and asparagus and it worked to perfection. The memory function is a great feature. The clock has large, easy to read numbers. The only thing that I wish was different is the dark gray interior color; I think white would be easier to clean because some food and beverage remains are harder to see on the gray. The product has a three year warranty.

I just Love this Cuisinart 1.1 cu ft Deluxe Microwave! It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen with its striking black and stainless steel cabinet. This countertop microwave is spacious inside to fit regular cookware. I used it to first cook a baked potato, since it took me over a half and hour to bake one in a conventional oven and it still wasn't cooked in the middle ( it was frozen). I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cooked it all the way through and the short amount of time it took. The sensor cook option was great! This model comes with a sensor cook- it automatically adjusts the cooking time as to the temperature in the oven changes while the food is being cooked. It has a Manual cook,Auto cook , Express cook and a 30 second cook, with many special features for each cooking option. Instructions were easy to follow and I love the recipes included in the booklet, plus some handy tips as to how much time it takes to melt butter, etc,. These many features allow for you to save energy and time. I stayed close to it while it was cooking, since I had no idea about the time needed to cook this potato and it took less time than I thought. This microwave has an inverter and I couldn't be happier to be able to cook food faster and not have to worry about one side being done and the other side uncooked, it provides an evenly cooked meal. When the microwave is on its not loud or disturbing. I would recommend this microwave and would gladly promote it myself! This would be great for your home, office or a college dorm, a single person,or a big family .

This is an excellent medium size Microwave Oven. It's 1.1 cu. ft. capacity is large enough to cook or heat most foods without taking up a lot of counter space. I use it mainly to heat frozen foods or re-heat left overs. It uses Inverter Technology to supply a steady stream of heat instead of cycling on and off like my old microwave. In addition to manual settings, features include sensor cook, auto cook, express cook and defrost settings. The black and stainless steel finish gives it a great look. This is a great microwave for any home kitchen.
