Unit does not display time correctly
Overall I’m very pleased with the Cuisinart coffee maker except the clock does not display the time clearly. it’s very fuzzy. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the packaging for the unit so I guess I have to live with it this way. The coffee brews perfectly both in the K cups and when making a full pot.

12 cup and single serve coffee brewer.
It’s somewhat difficult to pour water into the coffee maker and the single serve spills a lot around the cup instead of in it! Also, it would have been nice to mention in the instructions that there’s a plastic strip over the clock so old people like me wouldn’t try to figure out what’s wrong with the clock. Otherwise, I love it.

Dual Brewing Is The Best!@@
I love the covenience of 2 ways to brew coffee. The only complaint i would have is the reservoir for single brew is small. The coffeemaker is appealing and compact for being a dual purpose. Cuisinart is always dependable and well made. It is usually just me for coffee but when my family comes the convenience of the pot size makes things easy. I also like that pot is filled with water with each pot, no resevoir where water stands.

Water drip behind unit making a mess.
It is difficult fill the reservoirs on this coffee maker due to small opening to pour the water into the unit. Also when you open the lid to make another pot the underside of the lid is saturated with condensation which then drips off the underside of lid down the back side of the coffeemaker. Not a lot of water drips down from the lid but enough does that you need to wipe it up so as not to have a wet puddle behind a large and heavy coffee maker. It is a hassle I’d rather not have and cuisinsrt should have known and dealt with the capture of this drip. Would not have chosen this unit if I knew this about it.

Stay away, where do I start?
The k-cup makes a mess. It crushes the top instead of puncturing. Leading to grinds everywhere. If you fill the k-cup reservoir up it leaks water all over. The regular coffee maker does a good job but where you fill with water could be larger. For the price, stay away

Almost Perfection
Coffeemaker works fast and keeps coffee hot. Easy to program and very attractive machine.
The only issue is with the single serve. When making certain kcups, for example hot chocolate or chai tea latte (anything that has powder in the pods) it won’t dissolve the powders so the drink is weak.

K cup mess
I was really excited to get an updated coffee maker as I have been happy with my original cuisinart coffee maker. I didn’t NEED a new one, just decided to update. But, I have had 2 k cups “explode” and make a horrendous mess! I’m wondering if mine is defective because I wouldn’t expect this to happen with cuisinart-especially at the price paid!
