Coffee Center Brew Basics

Very versatile, makes great coffee. Pluses: reservoir for K-cups holds 3-4 cups of water, carafe and K-cups brew quickly, simple operation. Minuses: no way of knowing K-cup reservoir level until it is empty, lighted buttons are so bright that they are unreadable, cover for the carafe is barely latched ( doubtful if it will stay on after months of use), funnel for K-cup not attached sturdily.

Overall I really like this coffee maker, but it would be nice to have some features from stand alone coffee makers. For example, the pods side of this machine doesn’t have a water level or indicator that water is low. Also, I would be nice to make coffee in both sides at the same time.

I do love getting awake with a pod of coffee, then if I want more….am then awake to make it. Only issue I have is the lid of tank on pod side does not close completely.

Love that you can choose to make coffee in a single use or a whole carafe style. The pod also has 3 options on how much you want made. The charcoal water filter is amazing. Buttons are easy to push and control. Easy to clean and care for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I are really enjoying our coffee that we brew in Cuisinart®'s Coffee Center® Brew Basics machine. This machine is the perfect addition to our mornings. We can brew individual cups of coffee to fit our needs, or a whole carafe depending on how much coffee we want to drink that day. The machine itself is easy to operate. There are two separate water tanks for either the single serve, or the carafe. It can make an 8, 10 or 12 ounce cup of coffee or up to a full 12 cup carafe. The reservoirs hold up to 64 ounces of water with a water level indicator window for the carafe and up to 40 ounces of water for the single serve. They are easy to fill. The buttons are easy to read and press. The function knob is simple to turn and makes it easy to program the auto on and off modes. It will automatically make you fresh coffee up to 24 hours in advance when this function is used. There is even a light that will come on when the coffee maker needs a deep cleaning or is out of water. I like that this coffee center has a brew pause feature that allows me to remove the carafe and pour myself a cup while it is still brewing. It brews my coffee quickly and my coffee is hot, just like I like it. The charcoal filters give my coffee a fresh, bold taste. I am really enjoying this machine and the flexibility of a single serve or carafe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received few days ago the Cuisinart - coffee center brew basics and I love it. One product fits all my needs in coffee!!! First of all, the bring up and the usage is very well documented and very easy. One little thing to know is that the POD light will appear when the POD compartment will be opened. Second of all, I like to clock option, I can get a fresh hot coffee when the family wakes up in the morning and just a cup from my favorite POD during the day. I can even select the size of my POD coffee. In conclusion, I recommend this coffee machine because you are going to use it everyday either for a pot of coffer or either for a POD coffee. It is worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Coffee Center® Brew Basics about a month ago because I wanted to be able to make both, single cup and a pot of coffee if I had company. Before I got this one, I only had a single cup. I absolutely love this! It's so fast and I love having the 2 options. I love how easy it is to set up and use and how sleek and modern it is. I also love how durable it is as well. It works beautifully and makes an amazing cup and pot of coffee. It's easy to clean and I love the Cuisinart brand so much. I have found my new favorite!

It took some getting used to as far as the programming, but once we adjusted to the basics it is phenomenal. I do not like coffee that sits so I have always used a Keurig and my husband is very traditional so he likes to make one pot and will drink all day. The 2 machines were taking up so much space, so we were super excited to try this and get rid of the 2 separate machines. The coffee pot is large enough for entertaining (12 cups). It fits on top of the Keurig k cup storage unit quite nicely and my husband is just thrilled that we can set it up ahead of time and come down in the morning to fresh coffee. We also love that it came with a reusable filter so we don't have to buy them ...all in all, we are extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it to friends and family.

The construction of this product is really solid, as the stainless steel face feels and looks high quality. Components feel well-made, and the LCD screen adds a contemporary look to this coffee maker. The Brew Basic Coffee Station is easy to use once you learn the basics, and programming cup size is as simple as a button-push. My favorite feature of this coffee station is the machines ability to brew full carafes from ground beans, or to brew my favorite coffee pods for a single cup. Versatility of this coffee station is super appealing to me, as I love my morning cup of coffee, but also enjoy entertaining small crowds frequently. Brew time is satisfactory, in my opinion, and the coffee and tea have been absolutely brewed to perfection, thus far. The coffee filter is easily removable and the machine washes nicely when components are kept up with. I highly recommend the Cuisinart Brew Basics Coffee Station.

Again, disappointed and taking it back. Burner is already rusting and underneath the pot my counter has rust on it. This is our 3rd maker with the coffee pot and Keurig next to it. we’ve tried all the styles and still disappointed. We’re going to have to move onto another brand. We are very disappointing because we love the convenience of a coffee pot and the Keurig in one maker
