The flavor is multiplied by four
I just switched to an old vegan diet. I have never enjoyed celery in my life. It takes seconds to mince the celery with one press of the thumb and I find that it's incredibly flavorful and delicious now! In fact I'm eating more vegetables and ever becauseThe flavor is multiplied by four as a result of being minced in this great machine. It is fantastically easy to use incredibly easy to clean and I am enjoying preparing all these vegetables and making my version of couscous etc.

I can’t live without my Cuisinart Food Processor!
The processor is very effective. The top and the piece that engages the power/on is plastic and really concerns me if it will last. My old version did not have that part and lasted 30 years. I plan to hand wash the top as one wrong move in the dishwasher, I fear, break that piece. I’d love to be proved wrong, however as I use my food processor for so many things and Cuisinart has always been very reliable.

Best Food Processor available at this price
I’ve had many food processors in the past and loved all of them for specific reasons. I love my Cuisinart for all the reasons combined, so am very happy with my purchase. My only wish is that there were an even larger feed tube for slicing large whole tomatoes or larger potatoes for fries. Other than that one thing, I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to working with my food processor for many years.

Nice, Powerful food processor. Has multiple attchements for slicing, grating and chopping. Pulse button helps when you need a little more cutting, or chopping nuts. Works great! Pleanty of power!!

Plant-based family loves this Cuisinart!
We started a plant-based lifestyle and realized quickly that we needed a 14 cup capacity processor! My mom had this Cuisinart in the 80’s and used it frequently. So I knew Cuisinart was the way to go & we are happy with that decision!

Great at what it does. Need better instructions
The machine will not turn on if the container is not line up correctly. The last part “plunger” thing that push food in, must be inserted so the metal bar goes into the container’s mechanism or the machine won’t turn on. It was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions so we thought we had a dud. The machine does what it advertises to do. Grounding chicken was a breeze, making slices of lemons were quite easy and quick. We bought this in July, used it 3-4 times so far, so couldn’t speak about longevity.

It doesn't hold up.
I'm just replacing the parts for my Cuisinart 14 cup processor, just like the one shown, because the blade has become a problem for the second time. The plastic assembly melts inside. The first time it melted right to the shaft and bowl. This time the inside just melted away while making challah bread on Easter morning.
The blade needed to be replaced anyway because the serrated edges bent while chopping walnuts. Walnuts.
I had my first Cuisinart food processor for almost 25 years. I had my second for almost 20 years. This one isn't last a year.

Junk - What happened Cuisinart?
I have used many Cuisinart Food Processors over the years and always come back to this classic design. I thought I would have the same success with this particular model. Boy was I wrong. Within the first month of use a small piece of plastic broke off of the lid. After the first year the stem that drives the blade cracked straight down the middle. It will not mix cookie and nut butter batters without seizing up and overheating. We use this processor regularly, but not to excess. We certainly purchase a LEMON. Next time I may buy a used one from the 1970s or 80s - they have certainly performed better.
