Excellent Purchase
This is an excellent coffee grinder. Fill the hopper, set the consistency of the grind, set the number of cups. Afterwards you only need to press the start button each time to use.

Does the job
Bought this grinder to go with a new espresso machine. The grinder is small and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It doesn’t grind up large amounts of beans but that really doesn’t bother us. It grinds up more than enough for a pot of coffee or multiple espressos. It comes with a small scoop which we find handy. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the grinder has somewhat of a cheap feel to it. The little cup that the grounds go into seems rather flimsy as does the button to adjust the amount of beans to grind. We really don’t have anything thing else to compare this to so we don’t know if it does a good job or not. We do know that it seems to be consistent, it’s easy to use, and that the coffee or espresso’s we are making are tasty. We can’t speak for the longevity of this machine at this time. So far we have been using it daily without any issues. The price was good compared to some other grinders.

Perfect for espresso junkies.
Great little machine. Does a consistent grind at whatever setting you need. If I were to give it a negative comment it would be that it is a bit loud.

Convenience and options
I have always used the single use blade type grinders that you add beans to grind when you want to make a pot. I received this Cuisinart as a wonderful gift and have really been enjoying its convenience and superior grind. Holds enough beans for several 12 cup pots, so now all I have to do is press the start button and bam...fresh ground coffee! Lots of grind options, but for auto-drip I have found that I prefer to lean towards the coarse setting as medium is pretty fine. One slight con as with most of these grinders is that it is LOUD, so make sure you close the bedroom doors of any sleepers. Oh, and it is a very sharp looking unit parked between my Ninja and Keurig.

Functionality
Super convenient to have setting controls for coarseness all the way to fine powder. Also a setting for amount needed / 1 cup worth or enough for a whole pot…

Coffee grinder
The grind isn’t consistent. Some comes out coarse and some like sugar… It makes a mess. Too much of a pain to send back. Definitely not worth the money. Not happy

I does grind coffee.
The grind is consistently inconsistent. On the coarsest setting, the coffee is about 1/4 espresso powder and the rest is French press useable. I use a strainer to filter it into two separate containers. Not really what I was hoping for.
