Backsplash installation
This product was recommended by the in store professional and worked very well. Right out of the bucket, no fuss, just apply and begin applying tile. Dry time was about 48 hrs but I’m letting it go a little longer before cleaning the grout grooves and applying the grouting. So far, very pleased and would recommend.

Outstanding choice for ceramic tile mud
Never used this stuff before this project, but I'm sold on it now. First, no mixing needed. Second, it spreads smooth as butter and it is very, very sticky, so tile stays stuck where you put it, even on a wall or a backsplash. Third, it contains no Portland cement, and it is water based, so if it begins to dry out, you can add a spray from a water bottle (recommended accessory!) to keep it fresh in the bucket or on the underlayment surface. When you're done for the day, just add a light mist of water to the bucket before you close it up and it will be ready to go again tomorrow. Can't do that with traditional tile mortar. Fourth, you know you're going to get some on your hands, unless you wear gloves. But it washes off easily with plain water and doesn't do damage to your skin like the highly alkaline cement-based tile mortar does. Tools clean up quick and easy with plain water. And it's not expensive compared to traditional mortar either.

Was exactly what I needed
Was looking for a great solution to adhere 12”x12” mosaic tile sheet to fresh Sheetrock as kitchen backsplash. I’ve used thinset before on a number of projects but wanted adhesion and workability. This stuff worked perfectly. I read about it not setting but had no issues. Nothing sagged and I was able to find time the placement. I used 3/16” v notch trowel. It went on easily. Easy clean up. Dried like it was supposed to. I needed just over a gallon for my project
