LevelLite Self-Leveling Underlayment helps level floors prior to the installation of ceramic tile, natural stone, resilient flooring, carpet, wood and other floor coverings. This quick-setting underlayment can be applied to 2 in. (5 cm) thick in one pour and seeks its own level in minutes. With proper installation, the use of LevelLite can achieve an extra heavy rating for high impact use in food plants, dairies, breweries and kitchens.
40% lighter than other self-leveling underlayments
LevelLite helps eliminate installation problems such as bond failure, crumbling and staining of resilient flooring caused by the free moisture found in traditional underlayments
Will not shrink or crack
A 30 lb. (13.6 kg) bag covers the same area as a 50 lb. (22.68 kg) bag
Weighing just 3 lbs (1.36 kg) per square foot at 1/2 in. (13 mm) thickness, 3 lbs. (1.36 kg) lighter than traditional underlayments, it is excellent for installations where weight is a concern
Product contributes to LEED
Cures fast and develops high early-strength for quick installation
Rated for extra heavy use on wood subfloors with joists to 24 in. (61 cm) per ASTM C627
Not good for trying to level a large hole with rest of the floor!
I put a hole in my slab to add some plumbing and filled it back in with dirt and concrete. The concrete shrank a bit while drying and left it not level with the original slab. I got this at the recommendation of the tiling store but it didn't work well for this application.
It mixes easy and pours easy but they aren't kidding about "rapid set". You basically need to just plan on pouring this and not touching it. When I poured it it didn't find level over the lip between the original slab and the hole. So we added more, but then it suddenly jumped the lip and wasn't able to be fixed with a float. It setup quick and while it was flat and smooth it wasn't what we had wanted or expected.
If you have a surface that is flat but not level with no major lips it probably would work great, but it was a failure for my application. Now I'm having to rent a concrete grinder to try and bring it back down and flush with the original slab.

I used this leveler as a patch in several small areas. The areas were about 3/4 of an inch thick and ranging between a 9 in.² and a 2‘ x 1‘ rectangle. Mixed several small batches. All batches were smooth consistency. easy water clean up. I reused my mixing bucket over and over.

Good stuff!
This works well, but you have very little time to work it. Mix it runny, be sure your cracks are all sealed, and have your tools ready.
