can this mortar be used with fire brick?
Asked by Ed November 19, 2017I've used this product for horizontal and vertical installations. It is the gripiest and strongest holding mortar I have ever used. I'm not sure about your fire brick project though. It will work fine as far as adhesion goes, but it sounds like they'll then be subjected to heat. That's the real question. Will the product hold up to high heat ? I think it would be best to contact a professional at CBP. They have steered me in the right direction in the past. Very friendly and helpful.
