I used unsanded polyblend on bath floor several months ago. The grout wipes out of the joints like chalk. What did I do wrong. It won’t get hard.
Asked by: VLS
I've read that unsanded shouldn't be used on floors...... : ((( And that sanded can be sealed....

Is 2.8 oz water correct amount for 1lb power? Feels like way too little, perhaps it is for a half size container.
Asked by: JD
The one pound container I bought says to fill with water to fill line or 2.8 oz. I tried using 2.8 ounces and it is not nearly enough water. Their 10 lb mix states 3 pints. 3 pints is 48 ounces - so if you keep the same ratio of 10 lbs grout to 48 ounces water, the one pound tub should get 4.8 ounces. Their math is a little off.

Do you mix this right in the container?

Asked by: EM
I'm sure you can mix it in the container but I chose to use smaller batches and mix it in something else.

Hi, can this be used on slate, stone and glass mosaic tile with 1/8" joints w/o scratching or should I just use sanded Simple Grout?

Asked by: DIYLSB
We had 9x9" sheets of glass and stone mosaic and it worked fine.
