The color is very patchy and uneven. Very dark in some spots, light in others. I had professionals do it, so I don't think the issue was with them. I also realized a darker color was not a good idea. I will always get light from now on. The guys that applied it said they have seen more issues with dark grout. Very very disappointed.

This grout dried too light. New Taupe looks closer to Chauteau on the color chart - more like an olive. Taupe is a combination of brown and gray, not olive, so this will be returned.

It's grout - it's the right color - it's easy to work with - it looks good - the brand is good - what more is there to say. It's also the only brand HD sells so unless I want to go to Lowe's (God Forbid) or some tile place (that usually cost boocoo bucks), I use gotta Polyblend. I'm a happy camper.

Use only if you like to gamble
The color swatches are simply a slight guide as to what color you will actually achieve. I wanted a dark grout, that was not quite black, to go with my black penny tile. However the "New Taupe" dried almost WHITE. I cannot even explain how dissatisfied I am. The whole look of the floor is ruined, and because it is penny tile we have no options to re-stain a darker color. So much money down the drain. The quality control of this company is deplorable.

Happy with this product
We used this grout on our tiled bathroom shower and tub surround. When wet, it is very dark brown but once it sets, it lightened up to a nice taupe color. Very pleased with the outcome!
