Great product however, the sanded grout is used for small grout spacing 3/16 in. For 1/4 in use the unsanded grout. The sanded grout is a fine power.

Foolproof. Avoid the Plus version.
We've used this grout for approximately 600 square feet of natural slate tile, walls and floors and stairs. It's been easy to use and very forgiving of us as DIYers. We mix it a bit on the thin side so it stays workable longer. Dry is difficult; wet is best. It's quick to dissolve, the color is even, and it's NOT FAST DRYING. (Tile DIYers should search for a video on youtube regarding the warning against using fast/quick/rapid-setting grout; it's to be avoided at all costs.) We gave up on fancy grout from tile stores after having FIVE times received fast-drying grout when we specifically asked for SLOW-drying grout. This stuff, which is--thank goodness--NOT fast drying, lets you work with it for quite a while after putting it in. We could install a quarter- or 1/5th-bag batch and then go back and press it in and smooth it, even though we are slow. We were able to use a damp sponge to manipulate the shape for about an hour after initially putting it in. The haze wipes off easily with a microfiber cloth. FYI, we accidentally got a bag of the Polyblend Plus at one point in the stairs project and, for reasons unknown, was absolutely unable to make it work for us. I wrote a separate 1-star review on the Plus version; however, this version of Polyblend has been great.

Beautiful color
This goes great with the tile I picked out (MSI Metallic White 12 in. x 24 in. Matte Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile). My tile guys even said it was a great choice!

Color is wrong
I used the same exact product on both my shower walls and my floor. It was exactly what i was wanting for my shower walls but when used on the floor its grayish white instead of the charcoal. We regrouted thinking maybe it got dust in it the first time but still the wrong color. Photo is the corner of the shower where you can see clearly how off the color is. Pretty upset about it and theres not much we can do now

Bathroom Tile Grout
This did the job for my floor. It turned out very nice with my tile. Nice light and dark contrast.

Dries Way Too Light
I grouted twice! First time it was white instead of light gray. I thought maybe I had too much water and caused issues with the polymer colorant. I removed all of the grout and did it again! This time paying close attention to consistency, timing, and the dampness of my sponge. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand

Easy to use!!
All you do is add water and mix and the grout is ready to go. Ideal for use for joints ranging from 1/8” to 1/2”, polyblend is my go to grout on all my tiling jobs. Install is easy using a grout float and use a wet sponge to help shape the grout lines

Got what I expected
The tile I picked for our bathroom remodel had a sample on display with this grout shade (Platinum #115). It blended nicely with the gray of the tile so I figured I’d give it a shot, despite the warnings I had read in other reviews. Since I’d seen how it looked when it’s dry, I figured there shouldn’t be any surprise color changes, and there mostly weren’t. When the grout was wet, it was certainly darker than expected, but then it lightened to resemble the display I saw in store. Like some of the reviewers warned, I DID see some patches where the grout was lighter in color, but it wasn’t too extensive/noticeable for me. I might’ve gotten lucky with those patches being in more obscure corners of the bathroom. I think, because I saw an actual sample, my expectations aligned closely with my results. It would be helpful for others if there were displays with all the other shades showing how they appear when dry. For anyone having trouble with lighter-than-expected grout, grout sealer with enhancer may be the easier solution for you, before shelling out for a professional to correct the job. It’s supposed to enhance the color of the grout, which means it may darken the grout to the actual desired color, so it’s worth exploring as a possible solution In the picture I’ve included, the left and bottom photos show how the grout looked the day it was applied. After about 48-72 hours it looked like the photo on the right.
