Don’t know for sure but I’ve never seen grout come off when used as a backsplash behind a kitchen stove. So I don’t think it would be a problem.

Platinum is almost bright white
I'm so disappointed in this product. I purchased the Platinum color to be darker than our white glass tile. It looked perfect during application, but this morning when everything dried, it is almost bright white!

Oyster Gray Non-Sanded Grout Mismatch...
I recently added a backsplash to my kitchen and picked this Oyster Gray grout because it had a tan-ish gray look which would match my granite counter and the tile. After this dried, it looks nothing like the swatch or color on the box. They must have left the Oyster out of the mix. It dried way lighter and doesn''t match what it's supposed to be at all. It looks very light gray, almost white. Luckily it doesn't look too bad otherwise I would be pretty upset. That's the only reason why I give it 2 stars.

terrible, inconsitant color
very inconstant colored results....lots of whites and off whites in the finished product (supposed to be dark gray). tried removing and regrouting an area to see if it might have been some sort of user error..followed instructions exactly..but the results were the same: a powdery looking light gray. also tried acid wash with no change in the look. I absolutely do not recommend this brand.

Grout shrunk and cracked all over
Mixed as instructed, even used additive recommended by sales associate. After it dried there were cracks everywhere. Very disgusted that I spent all that time and work only for this result.

Gray grout turned blotchy white when dried.
Followed water to grout mixing instructions 3 pint to 10 lbs bag. Came out very thick and difficult to work with. When grout dried the medium deep gray grout turned a blotchy white. Vey disappointed in this product. After all the time put into laying the tile floor the grout looks awful. Do not recommend anyone use this product.
