Polyblend 10.5 fl. oz. Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk features a siliconized, latex-based formula for caulking around sinks, tubs and showers and where tile meets tile or another surface. Also adheres bath fixtures and loose tiles. Formula offers great durability and bond strengths.

AnswersInstructions for this product says you can clean it with grout and tile cleaner. This tells me that you treat it the same way you treat grout. Therefore, I would use the same grout sealer on both. HTH

Caulk shrinking, cracking, and disintegrating
We used this caulk three years ago on a bathroom remodel. It was color matched to our grout but the color is not a perfect match. Now, three years later, the caulk has shrunk and cracked so much that it's letting water get behind the wall. Some areas appear to have no caulk. Very disappointed. We have used lots of Custom Building Products and remodeled several bathrooms but this is a disappointment. Now we need to recaulk the tub and we have no choice but to use this product because it's color matched.

I used this to caulk an expansion gap and it blends in very well with the matching sanded grout. In my application the caulk shrunk significantly making a deeper groove than the adjacent grout, if I were applying again I would be sure to apply it flush to the top of the tile and then let the shrinkage bring the product down to the proper level as opposed to using my finger to make the groove when it is wet. As you can see from my picture the expansion joints remain hidden with this product.

This caulk was very easy to glide over some old caulk between the counter top and wall tiles. It went from a light gray to a charcoal color. The original has held up for 8 yrs and wanted to change the color. We would definitely use this brand for other caulking jobs inside our home.
