This cut to width 37.25 in. x 72 in. 5 Mil Vinyl Roller shade effectively filters light while providing privacy. It also comes with an improved cordless mechanism for safe and easy operation. A:  They don’t need to be trimmed at the bottom they fold up automatically no cutting needed

A:  Dear Dona. Unfortunately this is not possible. There is a hem on the bottom of the shade into which a PVC slat is inserted.

    A:  Hi David. For a window shade width of 73.25? it would be 1.45? Diameter. However, for the smaller 37.25? width it would be 1.2? diameter.

      A:  Hello DSR, Yes, you can have them cut in the store but I’d phone ahead and make sure there’s someone there to do it when you plan to be there. They shouldn’t charge either; take your receipt just in case. You can cut them yourself with a handsaw or circular saw for the tube and a utility knife for the vinyl. For us, the circular saw did a better job on the tube than the handsaw; you only cut the end that takes the plug. We had to cut more than five inches off ours but they came out okay.           You get what you pay for.
          Definitely a low-end product. I didn't expect much, as it was inexpensive, but I did think the bottom edge of the shade would be level horizontally. I did install it so the edges would be plumb, and after checking with a square, found the bottom to be folded and sealed out-of-square. Oh well.
