Product Details

Protect your drain from becoming clogged with the Danco Lift and Turn Tub Drain Stopper. It prevents unwanted debris and foreign objects from slipping down the drain. This drain stopper features a lift-and-turn style allowing for easy use, simply lift the stopper and give it a ¼ in. turn to lock it in the open position and reverse to close the stopper to fill the tub with water. The bathtub stopper has two thread sizes: 5/16 in. on the bottom end and 3/8 in. underneath the stopper. The thread sizes can be reversed to accommodate the tub drain threaded size. This bathtub stopper can replaces rapid fit bathtub drains 1200 series, Sterling, Carper's and Duracraft.

For your application we would suggest trying model# 88966- Universal Lift and Turn Tub Drain Trim Kit with Overlow in Chrome.

              Replaced old one that broke. No hard fix just screw out old and drop in new. Works the way it should I say get the tub drain cover too works great together keeps drain from clogging plus can use both at the same time nothing needs to be removed.

                Likely a good stopper!
                The stopper is a good purchase if it fits your tub drain. I was told that the stopper was pretty standard and it would likely fit. Even though I had my old one in my hand during the inquiry, I will still ill advised. Now I have a stopper that I can't use and can't find the receipt to return. It's of good quality and would have been fine if it fit! My rating reflects the quality of the stopper not the experience.

                Buy this one.
                I've bought quite a few of these and most of them are cheap feeling right off the bat. This one feels more solid and actually works. I bought it recently so can't speak to longevity but the immediate impression is that its a better product than the others I've tried. I'd just just buy this one and move on. Really easy install and the size of the screw can be changed between the 2 most common sizes.

                  Nice screw in, lift & turn tub stopper.
                  This is your basic old lift and turn tub stop. This style has been around for decades. It has 2 different sized threaded ends on one post/shaft. Fairly inexpensive compared to a rubber stopper or a round rubber flat disc. And is way cheaper than having to replace the whole screwed in tub assembly and getting, say a push up and down, spring action tub stopper.

                  The plastic shaft screams "Cheap! Poor Quality!"
                  I thought I had found the perfect replacement for my broken drain plug, until I saw the shaft. Plastic! Nothing says, "Low Quality" like something made of plastic that used to be made of metal - in this case, brass. I went online and found one with a shaft made of brass and bought it instead of this one. I paid $2 more for it than I would have paid for this one, but I guarantee that the brass shaft won't break off during installation or removal. Quality trumps price, every time.
