Repair Kit for Delta W/212SS Ball

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. As long as your shower uses a 212 ball (with a diamond shaped stem), this will work.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. For a 200 or 275 series faucet, you'll want a kit with a #70 ball, such as 86970 (http://www.homedepot.com/p/DANCO-Faucet-Repair-Kit-for-Delta-86970/203194028)

A:  Just remove the handle by using a small screwdriver or knife pry the cap off(There is a small gap in the cap) Once removed you will find a phillips screw. Remove it and take the handle off. Using a pair of channel lock pliers remove the metal cap(sometimes they can be a little difficult to get off). Once removed the ball and rod assembly will come out. Inside you will find 2 rubber grommets with the springs inside them. They can be stuck there so you might have to remove them with a small screwdriver( They are not held in there by anything so just take them out) The new springs that cam in the kit were slightly to tall for my faucet, so I had to use the old springs, just make sure you pay attention to how they went in, because they are smaller on the top than on the bottom. Reassemble the new grommets with the springs and put them back in place. Make sure they are setting even with each other, not one over the top of the other. Just use you thumb to press them once they are in, and they should level out each other. One this is is done the ball and rod assembly goes back in with the white piece on top. Pay attention to the metal housing on the faucet because it has a notch in it that you will need to match up to the notch on the white piece. Now put the top back on, and this can be a little tricky because you have to make sure that the white piece stays lined up with the notch. I used a medium screwdriver to hold the white piece in place while I screwed the top back on. Any questions let me know. A:  Thank you for your inquiry. No, we do not. Without some mechanism to support it built into the sink, any cover the same size as the hole in the sink would fall through it.

A:  Very simple lose set bolt under handle and remove handle. Use pliers and remove cap. Seal with ball will come out. Use screw driver and remove seals and replace. Then replace everything back and leak stops. Easy search YouTube several videos on web. Not hard place towel in sink or bath drain so nothing falls down. 2 hammers very simple

A:  NOTE: You will need a phillips-head screwdriver, a smaller flat-head screwdriver or metal "hook", a pair of pliers, and small tube of silicone/waterproof grease. Watch multiple YouTube videos before starting. 1. Turn off the water supply to your shower or sink. 2. Close or block your sink/tub/shower drain to prevent small parts from falling into it. 3. Carefully unscrew your ball-type faucet head with a Phillips-head. Make sure you have the Diamond-shaped valve stem. Use pliers to remove the collar surrounding the valve stem. Do not use too much force, as you do not want to shear the copper tubing inside the walls! 4. Carefully remove the springs and rubber O-rings with a small flat-head screwdriver or metal hook. 5. Find the same sized O-rings and springs in the repair kit, coat ALL replacement parts with silicone/rubber grease. 6. Carefully reinstall the new O-rings, springs, new ball valve, collar, etc. Installation is the reverse of disassembly. 7. Slowly turn on water supply and check for leaks.
