This DANCO Brushed Nickel Soap Dispenser with straight nozzle provides an elegant touch for a bathroom or kitchen installation. Add convenience to your kitchen with this dispenser as it comes with a 48 in. hose that will fit a 1 Gal. soap or 12 oz. lotion bottle discreetly hidden underneath the sink to minimize refills. Q:I'm using this in the kitchen to dispense dishsoap. Each time I use it, I have to pump it 10+ times. Seems like I'm priming the tubing each time as the soap does not stay in the tubing. Any suggestions on how to get the soap to stay in the tubing>

Answer This Question

A: You have to install a check valve in the tubing to prevent the liquid dish detergent from flowing back down into the dish detergent bottle. Order the check valve online and be sure the outer diameter of the check valve nozzles fit the tubing inner diam.

A: Instructions said to use water first to prime it so I would remove from soap bottle and pump plenty of water first and then reconnect the soap. Also, maybe add a little water to soap if above suggestion doesn’t fix your issue

A: You have to make the tubing and the container air tight otherwise just install the bottle to the pump if you have the clearance.
