Repair your leaky faucet with this Danco Stem Extension for Moen/Stanadyne Faucets. Sometimes the shower valve faucet depth of the rough is incorrect due to a very thick wall. In these instance you will need shower stem extensions to make up the difference. This stem extension provides additional length for tub/shower stems. It is compatible with hot and cold water applications.

AnswerThank you for your interest in Danco products. Many times people may have a leak with their faucet and for various reasons such as, a valve is installed too far into wall they, may need a stem extension to create a tight fit between the stem and faucet which in turn repairs the leaky faucet.

AnswerThank you for your inquiry. It sounds like you are describing the retainer nut that holds the cartridge into the faucet body. Unfortunately, it is not a part that Danco offers.

Worked great. Don't remember the valve I was using, but this was the ticket to getting the new valve to mesh with handle in the bathtub. Seems really expensive for a little piece of plastic, but if you need it you need it.
