I used this to fix a wood veneer that separated from a kitchen cabinet. This DAP product(like all dap products i use), did everything i had hoped it would-enough time to set the piece in place

Nothing wrong with this product. In fact it is a superlative! It allows proper open time, with subsequent quick full set time. Since it contains no water, it can be sanded in 15-20 minutes with no fear of sunken joints. It doesn't make sense why DAP seems to be killing it off and taking it out of stores in favor of the shorter cure glue (the blue cap), which works so fast it is almost impossible to use it for any type of wood assembly.
I have tested the red cap version, and it has tensile and shear strength superior to fully-cured wood glue, and unlike a polyvinyl or aliphatic resin glue, this glue has no tendency to creep over time. Big thumbs up for this product. Write DAP and tell them they should be promoting it, not killing it.
So why the lower rating. It is because my order through Home Depot was actually fulfilled by DAP themselves, who sent me a case of latex caulk instead despite the packing slip calling for RapidFuse. The combination of apparently killing off their best product without even trying proper marketing, or showing its benefits in its most valuable market (e.g., building cabinet doors and other precision wood assemblies), with an apparent lack of ability to read their own packer and ship the right stuff suggests they have an institutional tendency to shoot themselves in the foot. Ready, aim, fire . . . !
