Low cost solution to a dark area in our backyard.
I had a dark spot in my backyard that was shadowed from both a back porch light and a flood light on the other side of the porch. This dark spot included several bird feeders that I take in at night and the top of a stairway to the lower section of my yard.
I mounted these two lights about 8' above ground on the eve of the house and about 12' from a walkway that runs along the back of the yard. The come on at the slightest motion of someone approaching the dark area on the walkway and remain on long enough to collect the bird feeders at the top of the stairs. If they go off, a slight motion will turn them on again.
The area where they are mounted is totally shaded during the day this time of year. Nonetheless, they have never failed to come on, and they have continued to work despite being exposed to heavy rain recently.

DON'T BUY -= Worked for One Day, then Dead.
I installed these lights on the south side of my garage with full-day sunlight. I set the lights to come on with motion only. Both of these lights worked as advertised for one night, glowed dimly on the second, and were dead on the third night.

Do Not Buy
This product is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for." This product was easy to installed and work for ONE day correctly. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
