What gauge metal studs will this saw cut
The DeWalt DW872 15 Amp 14 in. Multi-Cutter Saw is designed to cut a wide variety of metals, including steel, so it can easily cut common metal studs such as the standard 16 gauge and lighter. For very thick or specialty heavy-gauge studs, always check the saw's capacity, its specs indicate up to 1/4-inch (about 6 gauge) mild steel.
