A couple of beefs here. This system I liked for it's higher power ratings. I have an issue with the way it is recharged. They include a charging transformer which plugs into a wall receptacle, while the other end is plugged into the Power Pack using a small male/female jack adapter. Traditionally, in the past most have used two male receptacle ends that you can plug into any electrical extension cord that'll fit. I can see the the included charging cord getting misplaced, since there is not a storage compartment in the Power pack body. The other issue is it didn't hold charge very well. I had a full charge reading while it was still plugged in of 13.9 volts. When unplugged and sitting for a couple days, the reading would drop to 12.1. I knocked off 3 stars for these issues.

went up in flames
i bought mine to power inflatable decorations for an event at my sons school. Used it once for the event then tried to use it to power station to power a small drill. it sparked then a bunch of smoke came out the main control board was on fire. i had to quickly open it up to stop the fire before melted the battery ,

Waste of money
Bought, charged fully and placed in my vehicle for road side issues such as low tire pressure and dead car batteries. When I needed it to top off two tires that were low (it had a 3/4 charge) it wont read the tire pressure and won’t fill the tire. Waste of money, DeWalt please make a product that lives up to your name.

Hot garbage
The air compressor goes on and off when using to put air in tire. The jump box is straight garbage 🗑. You have been warned and I own 2 of these.

Great Product Design, but....
great design, compact size....but the compressor hose does not inflate a standard shraeder (auto valve). Seems to be missing something to depress the valve pressure release thingy.

Stay away
I bought this last year to Jumpstart my lawnmower. It worked a couple of times and hasn't since. Battery in mower shows 12.4 volts and this thing just clicks the starter. Back to jumpstarting from my truck. On a full charge, the compressor part took my lawn tractor tires from 8 lbs to 22 lbs and the battery died. I read the reviews, tried to make sure to hold on to my receipt, but still ended up misplacing it. Waste of money.

Melted a/c and air compressor o ring broke
Day one converter D\C to A/C upon investigation converter melted
6 months later air compressor died ..again invested found broken
o - ring
This unit is not cheep , but is cheaply made
Shame on dewalt
Im an electrician, most of my cordless tools are dewalt .. never fail
But this jump starter (DXAEPS14CA - 011-2070-4 ) is total junk

Air Compressor failed after 3 uses.
I purchased this DeWalt DXAEPS14 Jump Box because of my loyalty to the DeWalt brand. It works great for jumping starting car/truck/tractor as well as checking charging system. The led lights are bright and helpful. The 4 USB charging ports are backlit and work perfectly, the 2 120AC outlets R handy. Air Compressor worked for only 3 uses and that is the reason for my bad review. The jumper cables & Air hose wind up tight to unit. Paid $200 for this & less know brands were $120.
