I would use the 16GA nailer. The 18GA brad nailer works well for light/small boards/molding...but it seems like the pine shiplap may be a bit heavy for the 18GA brad nails.
the DCB205CK is a kit that comes with the charger and battery. the battery in the kit will work on this one.
I have to admit, this was not clear to me until I tried to put nails into the gun. Yes, it says angled - but to a first-time nail-gun owner like me, it was not clear that you needed special nails for this. Once you order the proper nails - from DeWalt or a compatible set, this guy is awesome.
No. Only 16 gauge will fit. DeWalt makes a 15 gauge nailer as well.
You could with construction adhesive and shooting the nails at opposite angles. My preference is using trim head screws.
Not recommended for the 3/4" thick hardwood floors, for other types or thicknesses possible.
