Looks like main differences are; this one can charge batteries (the "thin" one can't), this one has 2 ac outlets ("thin" one has none), aux and usb are protected on this radio ("thin" one has ports on the face unprotected), this one also has a bottle opener.

Great sound
I just picked this up today after work. Got home and tried it out. Sound quality is really good, and the enclosed compartment has plenty of space to charge and store your phone. Also connected to Bluetooth really fast and simply. The display also shows both time and date Speaker cover is more grey than the pictures show and there is no bottle opener on the left side like the one picture shows. Its not listed as a feature anywhere, so I was doubtful it would have it before I purchased. Battery port is open on the back

Loud!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for over a year now and it’s been though it it gets tossed around on a daily basis it’s always the last thing into the truck so it gets thrown into the back on the way off the job Has a good battery life when running on battery And when using with the cord the built in pass though gives you two outlets for the one your using! It’s a bit on the heavy side but the durability outweighs that by a long shot

I went from a 12" Hitachi corder to the Makita 10" cordless. The Makita had accuracy problems so I bought the Dewalt 12" cordless. Great saw, very accurate and all day (actually all week) performance with the included batteries. I use it to make picture frames so I need the 45 degree cut to be perfect. Out of the box this one was spot on. I've never experienced any lack of power issues cutting through hardwoods. My only complaint is that this is significantly louder than the Makita cordless. A little less loud than the Hitachi 12" corded.

Boom box for relaxing and craft shows
I know i am not using it at a job site but my dad has some dewalt tools and for Christmas he got me the radio because I was having issues keeping my Bluetooth speakers and portable chargers charged so i asked for Christmas for this radio because i love how i can listen to my music on my phone or radio and cahrge my devices if we don’t have outlets for charging or if we don’t have power in the house because of weather. The only thing I’m bummed about is that I cannot charge off the ac outlets too if i am on battery. I also wish there was multiple usb outlets so i can charge my devices on battery. Overall everything is great and has great sound. I plan on using it at craft fairs to have background music and a place to charge my check out stuff.

No luck with the 026
Worked for a couple month and then wouldnt charge or even turn on. Tried one more and the same thing happened. I didn’t need to replace my 012. Just wanted the new look and blue option. Purchased my 12 in 08 and still no issues.
