I had two of these and both were defective. Cost me money and time, terrible. This is a finishing nailer used for trim, not really outdoor siding. Outdoor siding guns shoot a short nail with a big head. The nails come in rolls.
The angle of the finish nails are at 34 degrees. I could only find galvanized nails. I would call DeWALT customer service at 1-800-DeWALT and ask if stainless steel nails are available.
Hi Flash I am sorry for any confusion and not being able to answer your question 100%. The reason is DA and FN mean different things to different companies. Some look at it as the degrees in angle, head type, gauge and more. I can advise that the nail specifications for the unit DCN660 is 16 gauge, 20 degrees nail stick angle and the length between 1-1/4” to 2-1/2”(32 mm to 65 mm). Deeris DEWALT

It's MAX or regular.
Yes, it comes with 2 or 3 spare “rubber” tips. Probably made of silicone. I bought this tool and it was defective, got a replacement and it was defective. I was not happy with the service from DeWalt or Home Depot with regards to this purchase. Good Luck, Tom
15 or 16 would work. 15 will be easier for corners. 16 will leave a slightly smaller hole.
I had two of these nailers and the official DeWalt nails were difficult to get into the sleeve. This nailer jammed More times than it shot. Not a quality product
