How do you jump start a car
This model is completely safe to use on modern automobiles using a 12-volt wet SLA, GEL, or AGM battery. This battery booster is intended to assist the battery in the vehicle, not to replace it. If the battery in the vehicle is completely depleted, this model will not be able to detect polarity and consequently will not activate, as it needs to detect at least 2.1 to 2.4 volts from the vehicle's battery. We recommend making sure to have a good connection to vehicle’s ground or negative battery post as well as clean connection to positive battery post. A poor connection will prevent this unit from boosting a vehicle’s battery.
