A: Hello Jim Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience. Some batteries prominently displayed the word MAX on them. However, the 20v Lithium Ion batteries branded by DEWALT have a max voltage of 20v and a settled or minimum voltage of 18v. So all are 20v max batteries. A: It uses a Max battery. I also have a Dewalt chainsaw that uses a Max 20/60 battery which also works in the polesaw.

The tool doesn’t operate, as advertised. Heavy and awkward to handle. The saw head bounces on limbs causing difficulty to cut the limb and causes saw marks on the tree. Not satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this saw for my husband and he hs...

I bought this saw for my husband and he hs used it several times. So far he feels it was was a good value. He also likes the case (bag) as he can store other Dewalt batteries to keep everything organized. I feel it was good purchase.
