You can use non FLEXVOLT 20v Lithium Ion batteries branded by DEWALT with this saw
What is the minimum blade depth setting on this saw?
The blade diameter is 7 ¼ inches. It offers a maximum cutting depth of 2 9/16 inches at 90 degrees and 1 5/8 inches at 45 degrees. Its maximum bevel is 57 degrees.
Why doesn't HD or Dewalt put the model number down. Is this a 573 or is it a 575 that only operates with flexivolt? Customers are mislead without the model number.

Will this saw cut 1/8" or thicker aluminum storefront material?
You need a blade for nonferrous metals
Yes, but only if you use a blade rated for cutting metal. The Diablo steel demon 7 1/4 blade is my go to for cutting metal. You can also use a demo blade (wood/nails) but you will have best results with blades made for cutting metal. Wear safety glasses when you cut that aluminum too, metal shavings in the eyes are no fun! Hope this helped
You will be able to cut through that density aluminum by using DEWALT® Circular Saw Blade Metal Cutting (DW3330).
