Great product, but nails jam
I purchased this product for a ship lap project in one of our bedrooms. The project called for nailing 5/8" MDF ship lap boards into drywall-covered studs. Pretty basic and 15 GA was the recommended size nail.
First, I have to say I really like this finish nailer. So much better and convenient than using my compressor. Excellent battery life and does the job quite nicely.
Unfortunately, when you get down to about 7 or 8 nails left in a set, the nailer jams. I was using DeWalt 15 GA finish nails. Every set of nails jammed at the last 7 or 8 nails, every time. Extracting the jam is quick and easy, but it leaves a lot of wasted nails. Putting a second set of nails behind the jammed ones does not improve the situation. The nailer clearly doesn't like dealing with those last few nails. I've attached a picture of the nails that got wasted on this relatively small project.

Great deal on great quality products! Yes of course they are not the highest end of the DeWalt line but nonetheless the quality is superb when comparing it to other brands I've purchased, I use every single item (except the flashlight which is well, just a standard one, nothing special) in my projects and even preferring them to other brands I currently have, my most favorite by far is the impact driver. I have zero regrets on buying this kit!
So if you're a woodworker or weekend DIYer it's a no brainer, this is probably the most complete set to do most of the work that you would require for that, if you are a super high demanding contractor then go for the DeWalt line suited for your needs.

By far one of the best bang for the buck combo kits at the entry level, I think this is a better kit than some of the options from the other brands especially when you factor in the size of the battery ecosystem that Dewalt has, as well as the ability to move up into higher end brushless professional grade tools as time goes on and your needs may change. As for the tools I couldn't be happier even the brushed tools have plenty of power and even for myself as more of a "prosumer" they will most certainly suit my needs for the foreseeable future. My only complaint with this kit is that the blade on the circular saw is a bit on the small side (I would like to see this kit with a 7 1/4 model) but it should do the job for most people, it did a fantastic job cutting plywood in my attic and not having to deal with a cord in that tight space made all the difference in getting that job done. Ive had these tools for about 6 months and i have no complaints, in fact I have added a few more bare tools (Vaccum,Jigsaw, 1/2" impact) and some battery's to my collection. Like I said before this kit doesn't have the greatest tools you can buy in it but they will be more than enough for 85-90% of people and they are well worth your hard earned money. I'm buying another one of these as house warming gift for a friend of mine to use in his new house too.

Lots of Power The only complaint is when you use the 2-1/2" Nails they go in tight an the spring load that keeps pressure on them to keep them feeded is not pushing them for the next shot so I push it a little. Also read another Comet with same problem. I'm using galvanized Senco 65 MM so will try the Dewalt if I can find Dewalt Galvanized to see if that fixes the problem will give it the 5 stars. I have tried some Hard wood an worked with no Problem with penetration. Being in a Wheelchair this really makes it a lot easier for all the inside work I'm doing an also used it on outside Siding

This thing blows
I purchased this nailer thinking it would help make installation more efficent but it’s had the exact opposite effect. I spend more time clearing it from jams than I do actually installing. Extremely disappointed
