I have had the drill for only a couple of weeks and enjoy using it. The drill is easy to handle....
I have had the drill for only a couple of weeks and enjoy using it. The drill is easy to handle. I especially like the belt clip which helps me free up my hands while working from a ladder. It has good power for turning hole saw bits up to 3.5 inches cutting into thinner wood and plastic. I have not tried going through 2 inch framing with it yet. I am happy with the life of the batteries. The battery lasted a week doing moderate work and maintained its drilling power until the last few moments of battery life. It is great that it came with two batteries. I keep one on the charger so I can swap them out when I need to.

works exactly how i thought it should..im very pleased with...
works exactly how i thought it should..im very pleased with this tool..i was glad to see it came with 2 batteries..use up one grab the other which you charged up..and so on if you have a rather large project..works great with timing..working time vs charging time..so youre never without a fully charged battery..

Great Drill
I use this drill all the time for mixing up drywall mud. It is my main mixing drill for everything whether it's for mud or concrete; it has the power to get them well mixed with no issues at all.

Drill is great, but it's the older model. Lots of power and torque. Issue I have found is that this was manufactured in 2016 and Home Depot seems to have a leftover stock. So you can get a drill at a lower price, however the two batteries included are from 2016, well past the useful life recommended. One that came with my drill could not hold a charge. I had to call DeWalt and then eventually had to return it to Home Depot. The replacement drill also came with 2016 batteries. DeWalt did ultimately replace with a 2020 battery, but took extra time, effort, returning, etc. So all in all the drill is good, price is good, just may have an issue with the old batteries that are included.
