When inventory tax is due it is very common in the retail industry to adjust the prices or temporarily put sales on to lower inventory. I would have strongly suggested that you should have bought the 20-VOLT MAX JOBSITE FAN KIT WITH 1.5 AH BATTERY AND CHARGER at the price of $99.00 as this was a great price. I just checked ( today June 9, 2020) and the same 20-VOLT MAX JOBSITE FAN KIT WITH 1.5 AH BATTERY AND CHARGER is now $139.00 when I checked on line. Again you can always use the Home Depot APP and when you are in your local store verify the online price. Again many times the individual stores will have a substantially lower sale price for a specific time. Don't forget Home Depot has one day specials that can be bought in the store or on line.These special sales prices are available till 12 midnight every day. When you go online line enter your email or phone number to get added to these specials sales that have very generous price reductions on numerous items for the ONE DAY SPECIALS. A:  This is a GREAT PRODUCT

A:  Any 20v or 60v Flexvolt battery will work. It also will plug into an extension cord. The charger with charge any of the batteries, but slowly with the 60v. I picked up this model with the battery and charger because it was on sale for the same price as the fan only. The 1.5Ah battery lasts a long time in the fan and is good for quick 20v work since it's light.
