Look at the picture, and the description! I see a cord in the picture, and the words corded in the description!

The bottom of the sander has a velcro-like base that uses standard discs to "stick" on.
I used it to sand down a butcher block counter top and did not notice discomfort from the vibration after a half day of sanding.
Only marble for sandpaper, other stones use a different type of pad
I just purchased and returned this sander because the vacuum hose connection options aren't very good. The sander side is a Dewalt proprietary connection that's about 1-3/4-inches in outside diameter. The DWC9000 part you'll read about here seems difficult to find and it's not clear that's all you need. Yes you can probably find some rubber adapter in the plumbing department but why would you do that when there are other popular and highly rated sanders at HD that include the vacuum host adapter in the box? Major miss on Dewalt's part.
Yes. Works fine on metal. Will be using it tomorrow on metal.
Sure it can. It may not be the quickest way to do it but it would be a fairly inexpensive way. If you don't have too large a piece of floor to sand I wouldn't hesitate to use it
Yes, you can buy sanding pads most anywhere, I purchased mind at Home Depot.
If it's a single board then any sander will do and a random orbital sander would be great. If it is all of the boards on a fence you might look at a belt sander.
