Questions & Answers

How much does it weigh?

Asked by Dan April 22, 2021

I'd say maybe 40lbs. It is not heavy at all.

What size are the holes for the bench dogs

Asked by Scott March 27, 2021

3/4" Scott. Nice table. I use it primarily as a base for a 80lb portable log splitter I have. It's sturdy.

Is the table steady enough for a 200lb. Person to stand on?

Asked by JohnJohn March 22, 2021

It will handle the weight, but a side movement could/would break the side. Its made for downward weight, but not movement.

what is the overall height of this table

Asked by tj March 5, 2021

Hi. This table sits a fraction shy of 30" tall. Hope this helps.

Are there guides that fit into the holes for angle or extra support while making cuts of differen...

Asked by Frosty February 15, 2021

No. It does not come with any guides or clamps. You would have to make guides or pegs yourself that would allow you accomplish your specific task.

Where is it manufctured?

Asked by Joe January 15, 2021

Had mine, two, a couple of years. Early on one failed and DEWalt replaced immediately. Since then no problems. I not concerned where manufactured, quality is good enough.

Whats the best way to attach a router to this table?

Asked by BigRed December 22, 2020

This table is not set up to be converted into a router table, if that is what you are asking. There are others that can but not this one. Still a very handy portable workbench.

It's portable, but how much does it weigh?? That decides how portable it really is.

Asked by TG December 22, 2020

25-30 lbs. has a nice carry handle.

Can this be used to hold Dewalt 485 Table Saw? Or is there a suggested table?

Asked by Paul December 16, 2020

The folding portable workbench will hold the DeWalt DWE7485/DCS7485 table saw just fine, although the working height of the saw table might be a little high. The DW7440RS Mobile/Rolling Table Saw Stand or the DW7451 Heavy Duty Table Saw Stand are purpose built for the saw. I really enjoy my 33 in Folding Portable Workbenchs, though - plenty of uses for it, even if it won't be perfect for the table saw.

How do i get bed extensions to raise the height on the Dewalt work bench?

Asked by Royboy December 15, 2020

Not aware of anything like that, that exists, this is simply a portable work bench, and a very good one for what it is.

Amazing little multi-purpose table
I havent had this table very long, but i have used it pretty frequently. I really love the fact you can clamp stuff down and it has held my weight plus the weight of my SO thus i have great faith that it will any light project that i put on it. Its not very heavy and is portable enough to transport anywhere. It has became a new favorite of mine!

dewalt work table
The table feels hefty. I bought it after seeing JeffOStroff's YouTube review. I have used it several times and like it allot. Today I noticed that the part the slide on the side broke. I am not too happy. Luckily due to covid, HD had the 180 days return. This is why I gave it 4 starts not 5. it's not as tough as you think. Despite being thrown off the roof that Jeff did in his video. My advice is to take it easy when you open and close the table. That's what I'm going to do. It wasn't like I was pulling the handle like a lawn mower so I wasn't sure what the part broke.

Folding work table damaged
My table works great but it actually came with cracked edges and a piece broken off which was a disappointment as it was a gift for my boyfriend. Probably the delivery person.

OK for light duty
You should probably pass on this but it will do for light duty. I'm a homeowner/DIY user. I liked this bench very much the first few months. It's portable, folds up easy and sturdy. I liked all the holes for clamps and punching. Sadly, it didn't hold up and I now have a big crack near the center the compromises the strength of the table top. I admit to using the table to give some love taps to 1mm thick sheet metal to bang it into shape, but y'all, I'm a buck forty and barely bench the bar. If you're just using it to hold things off the ground I think it will work well for you, but you shouldn't expect it to stand up to a lot of abuse.

Very portable and easy to use. Folds up and out with ease! Very durable and made of high quality material What else would you expect from a Dewalt product?!

Fell apart the first day. Avoid.
The design is horrible. I opened it up and it cracked and fell apart the first time. It collapsed with a 70 pound Hardie board on it, and one leg cracked out of place when I tried to close it. I couldn't return it fast enough. No wonder it was 30% off.
