Hello Shopper, The model D25263K is made in China.

Are you able to attach a Clay Spade to this tool? Need to dig up some parts of my yard.

Asked by Bill December 30, 2020

Answer

If the clay spade you are referring to has a SDS Plus type bit, it should fit this tool. At this point I have not experienced using a clay spade with this tool.

The USA and China have different electrical systems, that are not compatible. This tool , made for American market, is 115 V.

whats the difference between the 1-1/8" and the 1".

Asked by Gary January 25, 2019

Answers

It's the recommended capability of the tool based on its power, torque, bpm, rpm, etc. The maximum size of the hole you intend to bore out and the material being drilled, should be considered before one commits to a tool purchase. If you're drilling into a concrete foundation, and need a 3/4" copper pipe fitting, like a frost-free garden faucet, you'll need a hole with the diameter of 1-1/8", and this tool would be built to operate within the needed range of application.

Would this DeWalt hammer drill be suitable for chiseling out a crack in a concrete foundation wal...

Asked by Jay January 22, 2019

Answers

Yes. This tool would have an adequate amount of impact energy and chisling power to chip out the crack and widen it to the depth/width you've specified. If you were looking to break through a foundation/concrete wall/substrate that were deeper/thicker than 4" then this tool would be considered under-powered for the heavier duty requirements of that type of job. SDS MAX would be needed to effectively up-source the power needed to work through concrete thicker than 4", effectively.

Can this be used with dimond hole saw bits to make holes on tile?

Asked by trg November 7, 2018

Answers

Yes, however, not using the hammering feature, but also, water is recommended for keeping the coring bit cool. The manual will specify the maximum diameter for coring.

will it work on 220 wats?

Happy with purchase
I bought this a couple weeks ago. I was building a wood mantel for my natural stone fireplace. I need to secure it and my regular drill felt like it was taking forever. I like to have lots of tools so I bought it. It was so much faster and easier to drill holes to mount the mantel. Seriously like night and day difference. I also bought a variety of attachments as it does more than just drill marvelous holes in rock hard surfaces. Now I am trying to figure out what projects I can do just to use this tool again lol. So far, no complaints and happy with this purchase. It was a time and energy saver for me.

Powerful but easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought to remove old glue down wood floors. This saved our lives. Very powerful, but even my petite wife could use it. And it dris holes in concrete like it was pine. Wonderful tool.

Extremely Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We mostly use it for drilling concrete for anchoring walls, etc. On this job we have a house built in 1894 that has a rock foundation. We used it to drill through the floor and rocks to run CAT 5 wiring. It performed well. It's easy to use and saves my crew lot of time and pain. It is a great tool.
