Dewalt cobalt drill bit in a set broke immediately and Dewalt failed to replace it
A 5/16” Dewalt cobalt drill bit in a set broke the first time I used it. And I was drilling soft stainless steel slowly with cutting oil. I sent Dewalt photos of the set and broken bit and asked for a replacement of just the bit. Dewalt wasted my time emailing multiple requests for information I’d already sent but they failed to replace the obviously defective Dewalt drill bit. Therefore I will NEVER buy anything with the Dewalt brand.

If you have a cam operated hammerdrill and not an SDS type than these drill bits are pretty much as good as they get,there are two things not mentioned in the product overview wich are important,one is that these bits are fluted wich means they self extract the dust from the holes while it drills in and second these bits are made in Germany,unlike Boschs blue granite wich are China made and don't hold up as well as these bits,these will last thru repeated drilling with out dissapointing.
