How do you put the chalk in it. Take the screws out and fill it that way?
For filling with chalk, you unscrew the yellow cone where the string comes out. Hold the body vertically and carefully pour the chalk into the aluminum body. Do not overfill, only an ounce is needed. Replace the cap when complete.
Unscrew the top and pour the chalk carefully in. Lasts for ages.
I'm afraid there isn't an opening in the side Frank, so I'm assuming I put the chalk in through the top. Sounds so messy. It's a shame there are no guidelines included - how much chalk? Do you run the line in and out several times to distribute it?
No, it is easier than that. The yellow cap unscrews about 1 turn and comes off and you put the chalk in at the top.
