Can this blade be used safely with the corded version of the miter saw, 15 amp motor?

Yes

why can't I use this on a table saw? Thanks, James

Answer

Hi James the circular saw blades, miter saw blades and table saw blades might look very similar. They are actually designed and engineered differently. A table saw blade used on a miter saw or circular saw can be very aggressive as it is meant to do a bigger and harder job. There is also the difference in the kerf size thickness of the blade. Very important requirements to each and for your safety.

Not Traditional Dewalt quality blade
I am a carpentry centric general contractor and have been in the business ten years. I do my research and am not loyal to a single brand. I have had very good luck with my 12” Dewalt miter saw trim blades. They do not provide the cleanest cuts on the market but they cut decently for a good bit of time (of course my $120 Forrester beats it but this blade is less than half the price and I assumed it would be fine for the softer woods). This one, however, leaves a decent amount to be desired. Just completed one 10’ mdf built-in with this blade and am cutting some pine FJ trim and noticed a lot more tear out on the back of the piece than should be there with what’s essentially a brand new blade. The face cuts are passable but not glimmering with clarity. I’ve attached a picture of a piece of base I cut face down in the saw (despite the front face being down this level of tear out at this point in the blades life shouldn’t be there) Not sure yet if the teeth are dull but noticed the blade is balanced in a weird way (probably because this is made for the cordless). I think the weight is more distributed to the outside which means it takes longer to get up to speed. On its way to top speed, though, it wobbles considerably. This is fine if you have the patience to wait to cut every time but really not worth it if you do any volume of cuts with the saw and why have to live with an unnecessary problem.
